The saving game

Wawawawaaaaaaaa!
Saving money doesn't always have to be super complicated - as a person who identifies with the right side of his brain much more than the left, the thought of counting coins is somewhat terrifying.
But, by using a lot of the tools and rules we've been talking about the past few weeks we can minimize the work and continue on our quest to saving that dough!
One rule that I could stand to live by is to never buy something just because its cheap. If something is marked down 70% but still costs $200 with the discount, is it really that great of a deal if you don't need it?
I've been guilty of this often - buying things because "it would be stupid not to."
But think, what are the benefits of having something in your closet that you'll never use or wear?
For people who cruise clearance bins, having this mindset means the difference between getting a good deal and getting a great one.
Keep being thrifty spenders,
