Here is Jason's blog post:
"OK so i just finished reading a remarkale book by none other then donald miller. this one is entitled searching for God knows what. i have to say this book could not have been read by me in the most perfect time in my life. for those of you who dont really know me, a great longing (one of many) was to be able to sit with a group of friends, at a coffeeshop, or anywhere in that aspect and talk. talk about life, love, things of Christ. the latter being of greater importance, although to some, may not be... in sight of this book miller goes on to state that we indeed are looking for relations. that we are in this thing called a lifeboat, and he who is popular is the "king" of the people and thus has the power to throw over the edge whom he pleases, if thats so.. i say throw me overboard. i will no longer allow myself to be judged in the manner of this world. i will not be told what is trendy, or fashionable, (though most fashionable clothes dont come in my size) non the less, i will not have my identity given to me by my peers. i will have my identity given to me by He who first created me. and that life is relational. its all about relationships, not saying it in the sense of dating, but in who we hang out with. and ultimatley who we long for. it seems that we are looking for the relationship of Christ but yet try to find it in the very things that will casue death, for anything thing outside of God is dead, or yet dying. in other words, go buy this book, read, and reread it... read, reflect, react...."
Great job Jason!
