"I am facing the storm."

"I am alone right now. The house is quiet, the neighor's house is quiet, the streets are quiet. Is anyone out there? I look outside of this old run down trailer and I think to myself; since there is no one else around to think aloud to. I think about the life experiences that I've had and how they have changed me as a person. Before I would NEVER have stayed in this town to see a hurricane. NEVER. Everyone thinks I am crazy. I just want to experience things. New things. Things I can tell stories about, things that will one day be a memory, a beautiful memory. Sitting here I realize that people need to stop every once in a while and just be alone. We need to ask ourselves some serious questions and answer them honestly. Are you happy? If I came up to you today and asked you that all to familiar question "If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?", would you say nothing? Would you tell me that everything is fine? There is a storm coming. Is it going to hit me? Is this storm a symbol of the storm that we live everyday, a mad, chaotic storm that we call our lives? Everyone runs from this storm. Why should the storm you live be any different. I believe we should all face our storms head on. The storms in our hearts, souls and minds. Face it. Do you run from the truth?"
